TECHNICAL DATA SHEET PIONEER MARINE EPOXY PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
MIXING:
PIONEER MARINE EPOXY is a 100 % solids thermosetting plastic compound that forms strong bonds on a wide variety of rigid materials; e.g. glass, metals, ceramics, concrete, wood and some plastics (except polyethylene, soft PVC and teflon. It is used as boat filler for hair line gaps, as a putting compound and as an adhesive.
Mix equal part by volume of Part A and Part B. Better to use separate spatulas (or spoon) to avoid contamination. Blend thoroughly until color streaks disappear and uniform color is obtained. To avoid waste, prepare a quantity just enough to be consumed within the pot life period (1-2 hours). METHOD:
TYPICAL USES PIONEER MARINE EPOXY serves as a Marine Adhesive. • Adhesive for boat building • Gap sealer for wood imperfections and ts. • Repairing or restorations of wooden boat. • As putty (masilya) for wooden boat.
Apply mixed compound with a putty knife or spatula on one or both faces of glue ts. surfaces with sufficient pressure to ensure complete . Allow to cure or to harden. Unnecessary handling should be avoided until cure is complete. On its uncured state, scrape off excesses from edges or ts or immediately spread out the mixture on surfaces to be settled, filled or patched. CLEANING:

HEALTH PRECAUTIONS: If skin occurs, wash with soap and water. If skin irritation persists, seek medical attention. If material s the eyes, flush thoroughly with water and get medical attention immediately. Do not take internally. Keep material out of children’s reach.

Potlife was determined using 1:1 ratio by volume in quart size as basis. Result is longer during cold weather or when mixing small quantities.
**
Cure time can be accelerated by application of heat, 65-80°C; this would develop an early full strength.
